Where Yankee Fans And Their Bomber Buddies Come To Talk Baseball...

Young Man Adams

David Adams will be be celebrating his 26th Birthday in the Bronx tonight as he makes his MLB debut as the latest 3B candidate.  Adams has had a .316/.407/.490 batting line, and hit three home runs in 27 games with the SWB RailRiders this season.

During Spring Training David had been released to make a roster space for Vernon Wells. He was re-signed three days later to a minor-league deal, but that prevented him from being called up until at least May 15.

Though no corresponding move has been announced, sources close to BTB say Chris Nelson will be designated for assignment keeping Gonzalez because he plays SS.
